ORIX USA Engages and Encourages Employees to Foster a Giving Environment for the Community through Foundation Fair

On Thursday, September 9, ORIX Foundation, the Texas nonprofit foundation of ORIX USA Corporation, will provide all employees with an opportunity to learn more about those charities that the ORIX Foundation has historically supported. The Foundation Fair will also introduce employees to the tremendous work of other local charities referred by employees and their peers.

ORIX Foundation’s primary programs are its Charitable Giving Program, in which it directly funds certain partner charities, and the Employee Matching Program, in which it matches funds raised or donated by ORIX USA employees. ORIX Foundation is proud that its matching program has steadily grown, with more ORIX USA employees getting involved each year. ORIX Foundation’s matching is generous, matching every employee-contributed or raised dollar by one dollar up to $5,000.

Current partner charities of ORIX Foundation include Dallas CASA, Vogel Alcove, The Wilkinson Center, New Beginning Center and Dallas Rotary Dream Team, all based in Dallas.

ORIX USA wants its dollars to make an impact in the community, and therefore seeks underfunded and local organizations, many brought to its attention by ORIX USA employees involved in the nonprofit organizations. Through the Foundation Fair and future giving campaigns, ORIX Foundation hopes to continue to foster a giving environment among its employees, their families and the Dallas community.

ORIX Foundation was established by ORIX USA Corporation in January 2009. The foundation is dedicated to helping children and families succeed. By advancing education, strengthening communities and improving lives, ORIX Foundation supports projects that create opportunities, make connections and address needs where ORIX USA employees live and work.
